World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrading of your equipment is a vital part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and the enchantments of items.

They also provide bonus effects and enhancements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

If a weapon is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus and a scaling factor which affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with cosmetic effects, while others offer additional attributes. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot available and that it meets certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from a weapon, armor or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be recovered by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that improves certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.

When the weapon is at max upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different types of upgrades to increase specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. A variety of these upgrades can be applied at once, and their effects are based on the quality of the weapon.

Two Blacksmiths can be upgraded in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage a weapon can cause.

In general, it's best to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can improve your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, as this will increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments, which can be very effective in boosting the damage of a weapon and other stats.

Armor

Item upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.

Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In most cases, a piece of armor will be upgraded to next level after an upgrade is applied. Most armor types are upgradeable, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.

The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. Some upgrades, however, can lead to significant increases in strength or defense. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.

Certain upgrades offer specific abilities that can be activated while wearing armor. These abilities can be very useful in combat. For  item upgrader , they can boost the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial for example, decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item can require several tries. If a player wants to upgrade Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, then the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with a defense base between 59-67. The second attempt would result in a Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of between 67 and 77.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular opinion, armor in The Division 2 is not useful. The truth is that certain armors have very significant increases in poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, which makes them very useful for certain types of builds. There are other ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another effect tier, and can be re-used to increase the potency.

The potions also get an individual color, which can be chosen by the player using /give. This color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, common and thick potions and awkward potions now have a different the texture of brewing. The potion of weakness was added to the healing potion in the Creative inventory. There are lingering potions available that can be made with dragon breath or splash potions and a thick pot that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Trinket

A trinket can be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece jewelry. It can be a necklace or ring. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It can also refer to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a ship.

This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the residents of this maze which makes them more prevalent. This trinket at the moment, makes all types Xx of mimics more common and gives each floor an Y% chance that it contains an ebony replica. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.

The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to alter the dungeon's environment by increasing the probability of generating grass and water. This trinket, at its current level will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are generated to solve danger rooms.

This item, which looks like a newt's eyes appears to alter your vision in a manner that goes beyond just decreasing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within Y tile. This does not stack with the Heightened Senses.

Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will cause an unintended effect on the trinket either increasing its duration or enhancing its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as often as you'd like but it will always be able to produce an effect that is new.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by only a tiny amount.
